Where science meets people: this claim is so right these days, even though in a virtual sense. It belongs to DITSL, the German Institute for Tropical and Subtropical Agriculture, and Transdisciplinary and Social-ecological Landuse Research. What a title. These guys, based in Kassel-Witzenhausen, always do have a lot of stress during the Tropentag conferences. But this time … one wrong click, one cable in a wrong slot – and hundreds of attendees worldwide wouldn´t see or hear anything.
